Which Mounting Style? Copperlab's vents come in two different mounting styles. The flush mount should be purchased if the siding of your building is already installed, or if your building is brick or stone. The stucco mount model has a flashing and is meant to be installed prior to the siding installation. This mount can best be used with stucco, or wood / vinyl siding (stucco mount vents must be installed underneath siding and water-proofing).

Flush Mount Louver Vent Drawing (193 KB)
Sturdy solid copper vent. Will likely last as long as my house will. Quality control issues though: There are blobs of solder that were spilled on the vent and not cleaned off. Sloppy workmanship for a $260 product. Also, the vent was shipped in a GIANT box with lots of filler - This is a needless waste of resources. Couls be shipped in a much smaller box with minimal extra packaging.
Good: High-quality, beefy, last-forever vent. Issues: Quality control went awry, there are blobs of spilled solder on the back of the vent. Would have been very easy to avoid splashing solder on the vent, or remove it before shipping the vent. The vent came in a ridiculously gigantic box with way too much packaging. It would be slick to ship the vent in a box appropriate to its size.
Great quality and good customer service, but you will pay for it.
