Dryer Vent Note: If you are using this product to vent a dryer it should not be ordered with a screen. Order with flapper only. A screen can catch the lint from your dryer causing a fire hazard.
Intake Vent Note: If you are using this product as an intake vent or to exhaust a fireplace then order with screen only. The one way air damper (flapper) only lets air out.
Which Mounting Style? Copperlab's vents come in two different mounting styles. The flush mount should be purchased if the siding of your building is already installed, or if your building is brick or stone. The stucco mount model has a flashing and is meant to be installed prior to the siding installation. This mount can best be used with stucco, or wood / vinyl siding (stucco mount vents must be installed underneath siding and water-proofing).

Bought the 6 inch one for my new range-hood and installed them the same day. All my previous vents were from the Home-Depot and plastic flaps usually survived no more than 2 or 3 harsh Ontario winters.
When it is new it looks really sexy, I mean shiny and cool and making every neighbour jealous (unfortunately CopperLab site doesn't allow attaching images to reviews, or I would). I am not sure though for how long this copper shine will last.
The sleeve is thick and made of quality stainless steel and I liked it. The copper is not really thick but sufficient for dryer or range-hood vent. I ordered one with wide edges (stucco) and if you try to hold it with fingers at the corner of these edges than edges will bend. The screen is soldered to a vent and it is not that easy to remove.
In really windy days the foam cushion does help to reduce noise coming from flap, but does not eliminate this noise completely.
Delivery to Canada a bit pricey (around $50).
Overall vent feels OK and I hope it will last for long time.
Overall I was please with the quality of construction, but wished that the screen and foam cushion were incorporated with a bit more finesse. Also, I would love to see it made out of heavier gauge 20 oz copper.
Beautiful vent and replaces one that was very visible and ugly.
Product (Copper Dryer Vent / Exhaust Vent) arrived quickly and exceeded my expectations. The high level craftsmanship is is obvious immediately. If you are looking for a well made quality product look no further.
I'm glad I kept shopping around until I found what I was looking for, a high quality part that will go well with my house brick exterior. I highly recomend CopperLab products.
I have now used 4 of these vents (in different configurations). Plus numerous other products from CopperLab I won't consider using anything else anymore. These things are awesome and will last a Lifetime. And copper is beautiful on any house (new or after patina). Thanks again
this is great compared to all the stuff I looked at the big box stores.
Looks good what I was looking for
The rubber was only on the bottom of this vent. It should be on all three sides. However, I was very pleased with the quality of this vent.
I have been putting this job off for awhile because I could not find a high quality product . This one is great , Thanks .
Well built of high quality materials. Substantial. Fast shipping. Will last a long, long time.
Is a well built vent, client was happy
Copper dryer vent is just as advertized, great quality and well made. Fast shipping. I will definitely be a returning customer.
Well built and looks great. Delivered within a few days. Fantastic. thanks
Wow. Finally. A well built dryer vent. And beautiful as well. Stucco flashing was perfect. Thanks
The quality and the construction is excellent. The seams are soldered which make it sturdy enough to last many years. The only problem I had was the screen interfered with the vent opening and closing all the way. After playing with it for a while it seems to operate properly. I will still leave the screen off because I don't feel comfortable with it taken a chance the the flap will not open.
Response form Copperlab: Unfortunately a batch of our dryer vents were made with flappers that were too long. We have fixed the problem and it won't be happening any longer. Thanks for your feedback
GREAT WORKMANSHIP, QUICK SHIP OF CORRECT ITEM, WOULD ORDER FROM COPPERLAB AGAIN.
Ordered one dryer/exhaust vent to check out quality prior to purchasing a quantity. Approximately 2 weeks until in-hand, and thus too late to "sell" the builder on using this product for entire house.
Good solid product and is well made. Ordered with screen, which I could not remove by hand (that may be a good thing) but may make lint removal difficult.
Was concerned about connecting aluminum dryer vent ducting to copper, but the (tapered, thank you) sleeve is of stainless steel.
Reply from CopperLab: Jeff, sorry for the shipping delay. We have been running about a five day lead time as of 8/1/14 because of high demand. We appreciate your feedback and we are working on getting our lead time back down to 1-2 days. Thanks.
Our clients love the durability of these vents.
Not your big-box store junk. Well made. Should look great and last forever.
Quite an upgrade from the common vent in looks and in craftsmanship. Haven't installed them yet, but I'm anticipating a great-looking durable detail to my new house.
Hammered copper 4" vent looks great, seems well made. and fills a niche in the market for metal option. I was happy to discover this vent online. Extension tube fits snugly over dryer outlet. Attachment ears with tiny holes are a concern. Interior flap fits a bit loosely and is not hinged.
Overall this is well made. However, the 4" tube is EXACTLY 4" OD, making it necessary to modify it (with difficulty) so it fits inside 4" aluminum flexible dryer ducting as commonly found at Home Depot. Also, the grating piece 'clips' onto the outlet opening, and is not adequately secure. I had to install a removable pin to lock it in place. Otherwise, design is good.
My installer and I were pleasantly surprised at the construction of this vent. Looks to be machine cut and assembled by hand. Seams are soldered which is a great touch.
great vent. copper looks good.
